Our clients main challenge was the efficiency of their HR processes, particularly in managing crew variable pay, which is pay variation for ground crew and air crew depending on predetermined criteria. Many of their processes were manual, leading to inefficiencies and inaccuracies. The integration of newly acquired airlines into existing HR systems was also complicated. They asked Encordia to automate their processes, enhance employee experience, and enable seamless integrations.

Our Approach

We thoroughly reviewed their current pay solutions and HR processes, identifying areas for improvement, and then agreed objectives and an onward strategy with stakeholders.

We designed a rule based approach to streamline variable pay management, which would underpin an automated system to manage complex work hour calculations and would eliminate manual error.

We proposed a user friendly portal to access essential documentation, such as contract and holiday forms, to enhance employee experience.

We standardised processes, document templates and forms, facilitating seamless integrations, including acquired airline HR systems.
